HOW I LOVE THEM
My favorite armor is the Robes of the Notorious pirate, they're almost Steampunk, with their darkblue and black brocade vest, gusseted black sleeves with tappered wrists and a flare out waist with black riding trousers. Not much for armor, but I wear it as long as I can.
This is just as nice though. For some reason the mage robes in the game that are actually mage robes just seem out of place in a battle. The idea of the hero/heroine wearing armaments that look like legitimate clothes (and don't scream APOSTATE ON THE LOOSE!) catch my fancy a lot more.
I can't even imagine how much work you put into these things. I have some friends pestering me to go to a con with them as Isabella, after I foolishly made the off-hand comment that Izzy was the only one I can reasonably pull off and even then not so good, but I keep saying no. There's no way in Hades I'd have half as much patience as you devoted cosplayers do. Too much work for me, so I just enjoy your labors of love.
